Is their fault?
In ever-accelerated China, many students and scholars who go abroad for further study, actively take full advantage of civil platform and make great contributions to our nation’s development, While at the same time ,it is much disappointing that an increasing number of overseas academics seem reluctant to come back.And nowadays, as many experts has pointed, China is experiencing a “Brain Drain”,especially at the high-end.Many a scholar has criticized those overseas academics who feel unwilling to return home in a humiliated tone.They tend to aociate this current situation with western festivals ,which reflects that they worship foreign cultures.However, I hold a sharply different idea from them.From my personal view, compared with returnees, they are not necearily unpatriotic.It can’t be denied that Chinese government has introduced various policies to attract first-rate academics.Unfortunately, merely these are far from enough.What is unexpected to us is that those high-end scholars confront obstacles when they return home.Faced up with employment challenge, they have no choice but go abroad to seek for a brighter platform.On the other hand, those who obtain a decent job smoothly gradually find it a boring thing to stay at home.They argue that it is a tough thing for them to adapt to domesticmarket commercial circumstances since China’s actual conditions are distinct from overseas countries.So the pity is that their intelligence can’t be contributed to our nation’s development.Moreover, since few local Chinese scientists are engaged in the research at international frontiers of knowledge , returnees are likely to meet with a cultural shock at work.That means that they can hardly find a couple of cooperative partners who have common values with them to share profound ideas to advance scientific knowledge and make great motivation mutually.Besides, it is difficult for their research to be judged on an equal footing with those local ones.Worse still, while the government urgently calls for the return of outstanding academics, leaders of many institutes may not necearily welcome those who are much more capable than them.And high-end scholars are viewed as great threats to the local leaders.Perhaps more often than not , their educational attainment can hardly be recognized any more.In general, it seems rather hard for returnees to adapt to different conditions in china.In some cases, they will even choose not to bother to return for a temporary stay.Although motherland is their root, the root actually can’t offer nutrition for them.So it boils down to one point that it is high time that our government attach great importance to returnees’ voice.And the tough situation allows of no delay.On one hand, it is eential for the authority to
