“Every child is stars on earth”.And all of them are shining though in different shades and aspects.I have never seen more moving films than this one, Stars On Earth.This film is directed by Amair Khan, who acts an Art teacher in the film.Moreover, this film won the best directing and film in the 53th BollyhoodFilmfare Awards.It’s a feature film satirizing some abnormal education.Regardle of its ordinary matter, it strikes me deeply.The center casts are Iaan and the Art teacher.They all have impediment of reading and writing.Iaan was often looked down upon by others because of his impediment which contributed to his peimism and self-reclusive attitude.His parents had to send him to boarding school.At school, he shut his heart down.His schoolmates and teachers treated him badly.All of these changed after the Art teacher’s arrival, who had the same condition with Iaan.But the teacher changed his fate with the help of his teacher.With patience and care, the teacher help Iaan get rid of his inferiority.In spite of simple content, it is worth watching.Amair Khan, director and main cast of the film, performs very well.He is an Art teacher in the film.He is patient to his student especially to Iaan because he sees his shadow from Iaan.He teaches students in amusing ways to help them learn better just like their friend instead of an authority.And he also encourages Iaan to talk and cooperate with others and help him open his heart to people.Amair Khan directs and acts the cast himself perfectly.It’s not difficult to understand this film because of its simple language and content.Certain abnormal education is common to see but Amair Khan perform this common phenomenon perfectly and moves audience deeply.Amair Khan take this small matter as the thread.He satirizes the traditional education : score plays an extremely important role at school;stick-parenting education decreases children’s motivation.When Iaan isolated himself from others, nobody could understand him except his parents and the Art teacher.The teacher dugs students’ interests and exercises their cooperation ability through P.E and after-cla activities.From Iaan, we learnt that every child is stars in the sky but we have to dig their potential with proper methods.Iaan’s succe deeply imprees me to treat everybody equally and to find other’s advantages instead of teasing them.To my mind the succe of this film can be attributed to its nation feature.The event took place in India.This film is full of Indian characteristics especially in the scene of drawing contest.All casts are singing and dancing after the contest.The most outstanding customs of India are singing and dancing to expre their inner feeling.Almost all the actors were showed up in this scene, which loosened thing up.I am moved by this scene because it not only indicates Iaan’s succe but also leads to the climax of the film.Every profeion produces its own topmost master in 360 kinds.People have their own shining points but we need to dig them out just like this film.Amair Khan has made it poible indicating he shows expectation to a bright future of education.It’s worth watching indeed.
