As is known to all, movies have earned great popularities all around the world.There are varieties of movies, such as romantic films, horror films, action films, science fiction films and so on.As far as I am concerned, my preferences are action movies and sci-fi movies and I will introduce them to you.When talking about action films, the definition and several representative works must be mentioned.On the one hand, action film is a film genrein which one or more heroes are thrust into a series of challenges that typically include physical feats, extended fight scenes, violence, and frantic chases.It tends to feature a resourceful character struggling against incredible odds, which generally concludes in victory for the hero.On the other hand, Mr.& Mrs.Smith, Ghost Protocol and Fast & Furious are my favorite.Take Mr.& Mrs.Smith for example, it is a 2005 American romantic comedy action film directed by Doug Liman and written by Simon Kinberg.,The film stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as a bored married couple surprised to learn that they are both aains hired by competing agencies to kill each other.On the basis of people’s daily life, this movie includes a lot of gun fights, provides excitement, abundance, transparency and openne and represents the victory of love.When it occurs to science fiction films, people should pay attention to their themes and imaginations.For one thing, science fiction movie is a film genre that uses science fiction: speculative, science-based depictions of phenomena that are not fully accepted by mainstream science.They have often been used to focus on political or social iues, and to explore philosophical iues like the human condition.For another thing, Captain America II and The Avengers are my preferences.TakeCaptain America II for example, the Winter Soldier is a 2014 American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Captain America.In the film, Captain America, the Black Widow and Sam Wilson join forces to uncover a conspiracy within S.H.I.E.L.D., while facing a mysterious aain known as the Winter Soldier.This film is a representative of individual heroism, a popular type
of American movies.It not only shows some advanced technologies, but also predicts the importance of truth and justice.In conclusion, both action movies and sci-fi movies include fight scenes, show enthusiasm and openne, advanced science and technology and put emphasis on love and human justice.In my opinion, these kinds of movies are worth watching.
