POLICY

To locate the source of a flood, and terminate it so sa to limit damages.If this isn’t poible, staff musy be familier with the procedures for ensuring peoples safety.PURPOSE

To ensure that all hotel staff are adequately trained and informed as to how best they should deal with such an event.PROCEDURE

All employees find the flooding or any water leakage must inform the operator to call the concerning parties.After calling for aistance, the finder must try to stop the water spreading out by switching off the sater switch & using some materials to block the source of water leakage(the crack).He/she must also contain the water by the containers.Housekeeping must put some “Wet Floor” notices for the paby and use machines to dry up the area.Engineering must stop the water leakage quickly and find out the reason with a report.A.M.and Security team must cordon off the area, if neceary.Any hotel damages, injuries relating to the flooding or water leakage must be recorded in the report.Pag e1of1
