My Review on Scent of a WomanPersonally, I have to say Scent of a Woman is one of the excellent films I have ever seen.In the film, young student Charlie(decorated by Chris o ' Donnell)accidentally witneed several students make fun of the headmaster.The principal asked him to tell the mischievous mastermind, or he will be punished.Charlie with trouble came to the veteran commander Frank’s home doing part-time on weekends.Frank, aide of President Lyndon Baines Johnson, had experienced many setbacks and the war.With eyes blinded in an accident, Frank was at home doing nothing all day, losing courage and confidence in life.He was prepared to run out the final effort to enjoy a better life.He took Charlie traveling, eating expensive food, dancing tango,living in luxury hotel, driving luxurious car and so on, after which he would like to end his own life.Charlie was able to stop the suicidal behavior of Frank, while Frank’s paionate speech in the school hall, saved Charlie's future, pointed out ironic hypocrisy of the school.Two people who encouraged each other both were reborn at last.Drag racing scene in the movie and Lieutenant Colonel’s paionate addre in the meeting made a profound impreion on me.In the first place, the blind driving itself was an incredible thing,let alone to drive fast.Blazing car made me have the feeling of free myself.At the same time, as the car was driven by the blind, it also made me feel tense and excited.In addition, what made me more shocked was the wonderful speech of Lieutenant Colonel at the end of the film.His infectious speech had not only succeeded in convincing the arbitration committees and winning the appreciation and recognition of the students in the senior school, but also deeply touched me.As far as I am concerned, his speech explaining the connotation of the movie: stick to principle, stick to integrity.Although president of the school granted him the opportunity of attending Harvard , Charles unmoved, stuck to his principle, not betraying friends to seek fame.There is no doubt that it takes courage to do that.Encountered a similar situation before I don't know how to deal with it, but later in life I will learn from Charlie: stick to my principle, stick to my integrity.In summary, I think the film is well worth watching.It teaches me to look the meaning of life in different angles.
