It is with profound sadne that we bring you the tragic news of the death earlier this week of Wendy, beloved girl of Shirley.Although only 30, Wendy faced numerous health challenges throughout her young life and was the recipient of a heart transplant 5 years ago that extended her time on earth.Wendy supported the cause of organ donation and some of you may have met her in 2010 when he attended the APA Convention in Savannah to support our fundraiser for Donate Life Georgia.Visitation will be held tomorrow, Friday, August 24, 5-8 p.m.at the Joseph A.Butler & Son Funeral Home, 23th & MinAve., K City, LA.A Ma of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m.on Saturday, August 26 at the Cathedral of St.Peter, 24 N 12th St City,LA 66102, with burial following in Mt.Calvary Cemetery.The family suggests memorial in Wendy ‘s name to the Heart Transplant Fund at St.Luke’s Foundation, 4267 Baltimore, KCity, LA643534
