Life in the college is a worthwhile period in our whole lifetime.It is in the college that students gain the learning and the abilities neceary for our future jobs, and form our correct outlook on life.Life in the college is colorful.Claes are the main source for us to obtain knowledge.We spend most of our time in the claroom and library.Besides, there are different extracurricular activities.Various contests provide us with opportunities to train our will and foster good qualities.In the military university, on the one hand, there are rules and regulations for us cadets.We go to the claroom, canteen or even bathroom in parade.We sing a song before meals.And the military physical training is also a great challenge for us.All of those are extremely different from the ideal life in our minds, so some of the students are not satisfied.On the other hand, it is exactly the military life that makes us self-control and self-conscious.My Understanding of a Good University

In my opinion, first of all, a good university should have distinguished profeors and qualified teachers, for the most important criterion of a good university is its researching and teaching quality, which is vital to the cultivation of college students.Secondly, a good university should be well equipped with neceary facilities for studying, teaching and researching, such as multi-media clarooms, computer centers, laboratories, libraries which can greatly improve the efficiency and level of academic achievements.Thirdly, a good university should have an ideal environment and provide the students with satisfactory living and entertaining conditions.For example, a beautiful campus, spacious dining halls, comfortable dormitories, gymnasiums, recreation centers are all indispensable, for they can ensure a colorful, lively and healthful college life.Last but not least, a good university should be armed with effective rules and regulations, as well as efficient management, which is a guarantee of the smooth running of the university.
