My Review of The King’s Speech Recently, I saw a movie named The King’s Speech which was a famous movie.And it got four Oscar Awards.The movie told us a story about King George VI who overcame his stutter problem and became good friend with Lionel Logue who helpedhim tide over his difficulty.This was really an excellent movie which can give me greatencouragement and inspiration,from which I can know something about UK’s royal family and the monarchy.King George VI was the second son of KingGeorgeV.In that the older son the Duck of Windsor fall in love with a woman who had twice divorcement.He can notbecome a King.And his young bother took his place.However, King George VI was a stammer and many people would laugh at him.In order to be a good King and had a speech.He must overcome his stammer.So,his wife helped him found a specially doctor named Lionel Logue.In the proce of overcoming the difficulties, and they become good friends.Only in front of Lionel Logue, George VI can relax,and would not be a stammer.In Lionel Logue 's help, George VI finally succefully completed the king’speech.And got everyone's praise especially the government officials
This movie let me know that when we in front of our real friend we canbe relaxed and will not worry about being laugh at.Just as King George VI and Lionel Logue.The movie also let me know something aboutthe royal familyand the monarchy of theUK.In the movie we can see ,at the first time they met, George VI demanded that Lionel Logue must use honorific.So we can know that in the UK’s royal family etiquettes are very important and they think highly of cla.In the monarchy of UK ,although, the royal family have no real power ,they just a symbolise of the Uk.However,the King’s most important job was to set standards of good citizenship and family life.So when the older bother of king George VI fall in love with a woman who had twice divorcement.He can’t become a king.Just imagine,if Duke of Windso married the woman who had twice divorcement,also would be a king,which would be the insult to the royal family.And the citizens will not oby them.Beside the members of the royal family is not like the ordinary citizens enjoy equal constitutional rights.Ordinary citizens can marry a woman who has twice
divorcement,but the royal family members cann’t.In the UK,the Prime Minister has the right to resign within five years and another person wouldbe the Prime Minister.And theparliament has the power to bind the behavior of members of the Royal Family.Just like the movie the Prime Minister suggested that Duke of Windso may break up with Mi Simpson or can not be a king.And if the Duke of Windso marry Mi Simpson,the government will resign.In this movie,beside the knowledge of the royal family and monarchy of UK.I also learn about that to be a good leader must have a strong mind and have the courage to change.Just like George VI ,although he was a stammer,he tried his best to
overcame it,and succefully completed the king’speech.Despite the heavy courage in his shoulder, he did not give up or escape.I think that is the quality of a leader.To sum up,having finish this moive ,I not only acquire much knowledge aboutthe UK’s history but also be aware of the importance of the strong-minded.And I know when I get into
trouble I will have the courage to handle it just like the King George VI.And when I have a chance to be a leader,I would like to be aresponsibility leader.
