Recently, Beijing’s education bureauhas decided thatthe rate of English score in college entrance examination was reduced.It causes much argument.There are lots of reasons.Firstly, it is effectle for students to spend much time in learning English.Secondly, A large number of studentscan’t speak English fluently,and they also afraid to speak English in public.Lastly,students put all of their energy into English,which makes them ignoring other important subjects,such as Chinese and Math.In my view,it is not reasonable to reduce the rate of score in college entrance examination.Learning a foreign language is helpful for opening our horizon and learning more knowledge.I thinkit is neceary to increase the rate of listening comprehension and add a part of spoken English.On the other hand,students should also attach importance to other subjects.
