My Understanding of Succe
Succe, one of the most welcomed and hot topics, is during the past thousand of years confusing people. Most of the people are chasing after succe through their entire life, but they can’t realize that they’re far from succe until they reach their last moment. So what is succe? It’s a question everyone is longing to answer while seldom can the answers be fulfilling.Maybe that’s because succe is not a specific identity, it is a realization lies in people’s hopes and dreams, altering with their desires and life experiences. For the neceary of a succeful person, I think efforts should come to the first place. It seems that, every time when it comes to succe, the common identities are wealth, fame and some other things like these , which in my opinion is totally wrong.Wealth and fame are aociated with succe, but they are not what succe really means. To illustrate, if a young man inherited his family’s millions and lead an easy life, can we call him a succe? I gue nobody would say “yes”.So when we’re talking about whether a person is succe, his effort should be taken into consideration, or it maybe unfair sometimes.A person can be admirable because he achieves his goals and the millions he owns and the easy life he leads is all what he deserves and for those born-millionaires, it’s better to call them “lucky” instead of “succeful”.The second element for the identities of succe, in my opinion comes from your proce of chasing, “never give up”.Edison finally succeeded in his light bulb experiment after thousands of times of failure, but what if he didn’t make it at last? Can we still call him a “succe”? My answer is yes.Though he didn’t obtain what he want, but he did prove that those materiel were not available, which could be a great help for the other scientists and the contribution would also be honorable, and people would still remember Edison the failure of whom contributed to the succe of the bulbs’ invention.Another example is that, people admire Steve Jobs more that Bill Gates, it;s unusual but it’s true, I gue it is because they saw that Steve paid more efforts in his own career, thus making him more succeful and respectable, though Bill is much richer and more powerful. The last point that matters in the identities for succe is personal mastery. It’s a fact that people’s ability are always limited and, different people may be limited in various degrees or aspects. If a 8-year-old kid writes an paage of 800 words, there is no doubt that it is quite a succe for him, but what if he is a undergraduate? Obviously it is not because a undergraduate is suppose to write more than that, he has the ability to do better while he didn’t, so that is not a succe, however;what if he is a undergraduate whose writing used to be quite limited and finally he finished his first 800 words? Of course he deserve others’ admiration now because he made his own “personal mastery”, and back to where we start, a 800-word paage would never bring him any fame and wealth, but he still deserves others’ respects and nobody could deny it.All in all, I believe that succe has nothing to do with fame, wealth and more importantly, the results of your chasing.I believe that succe is one hundred percent mental attitude. It is not what one did but what one is trying to do that makes a man closer to succe. For the lazy boys, an early getting-up could be a big succe, too.And for us, the college students, we can have a self-promoting every day, that’s the smallest succe we could obtain, but who knows if your biggest succe wouldn’t come after these pieces of succe accommodate? We both know that efforts and persistence always pays.Whatever you’re faced with and however difficult it is, just stick to it and remember you should do better than you did, the moment you make this, you’ve already succeeded.A man with strong efforts and persistence seldom fails to succeed. All in all, that is just some of my ideas of happine. The ideas may vary from person to person. Some may doubt that it is not what one did but what one is trying to do that makes him happy, because they believe that happine lies in the proce. While I believe that these ideas have at least one thing in common: they encourages people to do what they want to do, and that may be regarded as the most important part of happine.
