Nowadays, the topic that weather college student couples should live together has been fervently discued.Some people support it , while others oppose it.In my point of view, college student couples shouldn’t live together, for the consideration of individual development and social consequence.On one hand, living together is bad for individual development because it wastes much time and money, as well as hinders normal communication with room mates.Objectively speaking, the house the couples choosing is usually farther in distance from there to claroom than their dormitories’.It will be sure to kill quantity of precious time on the road.Besides, the housework is obvious increased by extra tasks such as cooking, washing, cleaning and shopping..Suppose that each meal is prepared in an hour, each day will be shorter of three hours only because of cooking.Some people may argue that they could eat out everyday.That is exactly related to another sensitive factor----money.We all know most college students can’t be self-contained.The limited life expenses come from their family.If they move out of dormitory, they will have a good bill to pay---the rent, the gas, the electricity and water fee.The cost will be a burden to students or their patents.What’s more, the cohabitation will determine personal communicative competence.Living
in a dormitory is an inseparable part of college time as it is concerned with the art of living harmoniously with others.However, cohabitation narrows down the life circle.The topic the couple talk and the way they live must be changed a lot from living in a group, hence it slows down students’ communicative capacity.From the above three aspects---time, cost and communication, we can make clear the negative influence to individual’s healthy development in the long run.On the other hand, living together may cause some social problems like premarital pregnancy, which will further result in illegitimate child problem.College students aren’t mature enough to handle the marriage, let alone a baby.Afraid of taking responsibilities, some of them choose to desert their child.The poor guy is born to be an orphan then.He is likely to achieve nothing, devoid of parents’ love and proper education.We can see his whole life in dim because of young couples’ momentary impulse.With the growth of this number, our society will fall into a swamp full of idle delinquents.As a result, it is really inappropriate for college student couples to live together.As college students, the foremost work is still study.There’s no point complicating the simple task with living together then.I strongly believe that flowers blooming in summer are marvelous.Therefore, college student couples should wait for their “summer” to live together.Obviously, college life is not the best season for them.In short, neither individual’s normal development nor the poible severe social consequence allows college student couple to live together.
