Good morning,ladies and gentleman,fellow students and dear teachers.As a juror in Yangtze University,i think i have the responsibility to give you some pieces of advices about how to spend the college life so that you could have a colorful and meaningful memory here.Number.1Find your interest
Having studied in college for two more years,i find out the most important thing is to find you interest and develop your potential on it.Because life is so short , it's regretful to waste your time on something you don't like.Your interest had better have something to do with you major so that you won't worry about your future career or you can judge that your interest are different from the majority so you have your core value.Kai-fu lee see that, the interest sometimes is talent.Joy and interest is key to a person for succe, if you have a field full of interest, you can play in the field on your special features and potential, even forget food and sleep but happy for that.But for a field you are not interested in, in order to suppose you family, you have to force yourself to do things you don't want to, which is a kind of torture.If you don't know what is your interest, that means that you should try many fields to find your own interest.Finding interest is of great importance,once you have found it,you walk another step close to succe.Number.2Set your goal and struggle for it
Emerson once said: “if you heart towards your goal, the whole world has to give way for you”.Roman.Roland also said: “The most terrible enemy of life is that you have no clear goals”.So once you enter college, you must employ all of your resource to find your goal.You can read more book to understand the aspect you want to know, consult you teachers and profeors to see the current development of one area.but you must also have a clear mind of what you want and why,because nobody can say for sure that you must do this and can't do that.Being an adult,you must be
responsible for your own decision and never regret for that.But setting the target must have the following five standard:1．Specific 2．Measurable
3．Achievable 4．Realistic 5．Time-bound.While you have set your goal, the most difficult part is to carry you permiion and you plan to constant struggling and paion.In facts, people distinguished from each other owing to what they do and how they do to turn their dreams to reality.In other words,difference comes from the action to realize our goal.Number.3 build your own network
After long-term of study, The United States steel king and succeful learning master Carnegie concluded that: “Profeional knowledge in the role of a succeful only consist 15%, and the rest of the 85% depends on interpersonal relationship.” So, no matter what's your occupation, learn to deal with interpersonal relationship.Mastering and having rich human resources, you are 85% of the journey for succeful road, 99% of the journey in the road of personal happine.Namely learn to how to get along well with others,construct high quality contacts will have a deep and critical influence on our future succe.There are three principles on how to build our own network,they are reciprocity, interdependence and sharing.if we pay more attention to building our network,we would have greater advantage over others.There are many important factors in college that you need to have a good understanding or experience it by yourself ,such as making a balance of study and developing your ability ,have a good control of yourselves ,your time and money.But keep in mind of those three advices i have given to you and always remember to be hungry for knowledge and positive about life.Wish you the best and thank you for listening!
