Childhood Is Certainly Not the Happiest Time of Life

Many people say that childhood is the most treasure part of one’s life.Maybe it is true, but it does not mean that childhood is the happiest time of life.First, in one’s childhood, he had little freedom.His parents told him what had to be done and what was forbidden to do.He was limitted in a narrow space, could not do many things he wanted to do.Second, one could not be respected enough when he was a child, anything he said might be ignored.His words could bring laugh from elders, but nobody noticed thoughts behind his words, and everyone felt nothing when he refused a child’s request.Third, a child would make many mistakes and he could not explain for his mistake, he might be blamed all day if his parents are querulous.Though adults told a child should be honest, they didn’t believe what a child said, or pretended to believe.It is true that a child need not to work hard, need not worry about many things, but in his opinion it is not a happy thing at all!So childhood is certainly not the happiest time of life.
