Anna Sewell was born in Norfolk in 1820 and died in 1878.She is the animal protectionism, according to her hard diatisfied with abusing animals, she wrote Black Beauty to persuade people to treat animals kindly.At the beginning of the book, the main character, of course was a horse, lived in a pleasant field with a pond of clear water in it, and felt rhathymia.However, it was the short time to him and then he was sold to another master.At there, he got his name, Black Beauty.Fortunately, he met some new friends in there, Merrylegs and Ginger.In order to do the job as a horse, he was trained by John who was a good guy and good at training.So in a word, Black Beauty also had a well life in his new master’s house.He lived at Birtwick Park for three happy years, but then changes came.Mistre was often ill and the doctor advised her to go and live in a warm country for two and three years, so master immediately started making arrangements to leave England.That was no doubt that Black Beauty was sold to the new guy Bath, who kept many horses and different kinds of carriages for hire, and Black Beauty became a job horse now.And then he was sold to Mr.Barry, after suffered a lot he was sold to Jerry, who was treated him very well and never used the whip on him.At that time, he met Ginger and found that she had a big change, the face was miserable and full of pain and her breathing was very bad.He was sympathized with her and the only thing he could do was encouragement.Unfortunately, when good guy Jerry was in deep sick he was sold to Jakes, a baker who liked to whip him and let him take too much things which beyond his capability.Then he was sold to another cab owner whose name was Nicholas Skinner, a hard man and cruelty.His driver was just as hard as master, it was a terrible life to Black Beauty, and sometimes, like poor Ginger, he whished he was dead.But when he nearly to die, he was sold to a farmer, god knows, that farmer was Joe Green who was gladly to find me and promised me that he will never sell me and gave me a happine life.How badly his life was.All his life was sold one people to another.Animals are just like our human beings.They have their rights and we could not abuse animals.As it is know to all, there are many trials of animals, animal liberation, and zoos.I think these all against the animals’ rights.Animals are the part of the natural society, and we should be harmony with each other.We have our minds and so are the animals, if today the animals control the world and put us human beings in the zoos or take some experiments on us, what do you feel? And the same to the animals, it is inhumanity.Peter Singer once said, “The animal liberation movement is not saying that all lives are of equal worth or that all interests of humans and other animals are to be given equal weight, no matter what those interests might be.It is saying that where animals and humans have similar interests, those interests are to be counted equally, with no automatic discount just because one of the beings is not human.”
It is sounds ridiculous that we can take experiments on animals because one of the beings is not human.Rights are equal, no matter who you are.Hoping to alleviate the pain and suffering these tragedies cause have but three choices: create an animal
model of the injury or disease and use that model to understand the proce and test new therapies;experiment on human beings----some experiments will succeed, most will fail----or finally, leave medical knowledge static, hoping that accidental discoveries will lead us to the advance.Please be kind to the animals, they are our friends instead of enemy.
