My topic is something about preschool education.I will focus on the recently hot iues——children abuse.Not too ago, these two photos online aroused fierce anger among the public in our country.We can see here, one of them shows a woman grabbing a boy’s ears, the boy is making a painful face while the woman is smiling.Another shows a child whose mouth was taped shut by the teacher.These both were mistreating behavior of kindergarten teachers from Zhejiang yanling.Seeing the pictures, we may all feel very angry.What contributed to this phenomenon? I will give four reasons.Firstly, the investment in preschool education is low.China’s government investment in preschool education accounts for only 1.2 percent of its total education expenditures, far le than 6.7percent in USA, we always like to comparison with India.What’s more, the investment in preschool education also far below other education levels’ spending.Secondly, a Kindergarten are not part of China’s nine-year compulsory education system, we know that compulsory education enjoys strong government funding.This led to a shortage of public kindergartens and increase of private schools, while the supervision of private is not so severe.The third reason is lack of licensed teachers.Since the private kindergartens are profit-oriented, and they can’t get much financial support of government, they can only cut down teachers’ salary to reduce cost.The low pay has had an effect on job seekers, qualified and licensed teachers are not willing to take private kindergarten jobs.Unlicensed teachers have filled the vacant—according to the investigation, only 40 percent of Wenling’s private kindergarten teachers are licensed.Yan yanhong in this case is an unlicensed educator too.Legal support is also lacking.While many countries have clear penalties for children abuse, the laws surrounding children abuse in our country are vague, weak and often le enforced.Currently there is no criminal law that deals specifically with children abuse, Yan yanhong has been put under seven-day administrative detention for her mistreating behavior！

The reasons above caused the event.To eliminate this phenomenon need the cooperation of kindergarten teachers, government and education organizations.Form the teachers’ prospective, to strengthen the training plan, especially to cultivate the good personality.And the government should increase the expenditure in preschool education and expand public kindergartens and support private ones.For education organization, raise up the standard of opening a kindergarten, and put up strict control of the educators threshold.I want to close my speech by a famous saying: Children are the bloom of motherland, the future of our motherland.Teacher is a hard gardener and the soul engineer of mankind.So let’s get involved to eliminate children abuse.
