Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon.I'm DaiJiajing from Cla Two, Senior One.Before I apply for the post of the President, I want to tell you one thing first about our Highlight.If there is anyone out there who still doubts that Highlight is an influential and energetic corporation, who still wonders if the dream of our Highlighters is alive in our corporation, who still questions the power of our Highlight built up by our Highlighters, today is your answer.When I came to Highlight at the beginning of my new life in senior high, I was elected to be the vice-monitor of Cla Two.I felt it more likely that it is my responsibility to do everything by my best.However, after I've done my own job well,like composing and typesetting, I started to love this corporation from the bottom of my heart.So I decided to do more.By iuing the questionaires, I was familiar with more than half of our students, so that I've got advocacy capacity to make Highlight widely known.What's more, Highlight became more dominated after feedback, and we knew more about how to develop our corporation by thousands of suggestions.Finally, I found just like myself, highlight had bags of potential, waiting for us who have the vision and ability to get.So, I have said, today is your answer.If I am the president, you'll find your answer.First of all, the recruitment.I want to recruit the students who have no work in the student council or other corporations, so that they can have enough time to develop Highlight.I want not only the ones who are good at English, but also the responsible ones who love the job.I'll recruit more Highlighters to create an absolutely new Highlight.I'll charge fees from them and give each of them a notebook to write down their attainment in Nankai, which is also a source of our article.Then, we'll have the fund for our newspaper too.One of the things I must do is to spare our newspaper from the magazine.We can share a layout with mentality corporation or make it smaller and increase the quantity.We can also set up on-line newspapers, which is also one of the suggestions from our readers.We'll edit different newspapers for students in different grades, which will be more suitable for them to read.And of course, the article will be more fit to our school lives, so that they will have enough interest to read.I'll carry on the succeful activities, such as singing competition and the English Contest Competition.I'll create even more activities in the name of our school and create English activities , which have already taken by the other corporations in Chinese.For example, we can make a competition to talk about the international circumstance.I'll surely work hard.You'll see, you'll be amazed.I have an experience of studying in a bilingual school for 6 years, so that I have a better understanding of western culture and foreign manners.On the other hand, I have strong ability of English and have won the first prize of English Contest Competition in Tianjin, which is the first in our school.Because of my experience of being a monitor in senior high, I have been a good organize and communicator.I have also succefully lead a brilliant female basketball team, therefore I believe I can be an amazing leader.Another reason that I apply for the president of Highlight is that Highlight was somebody I bonded with.When I was in Junior 1 in Nankai Junior Highschool, I was choosen to be a Highlighter in editorial board by the president BianYuhan.When I
was in Junior 2, I was choosen to be one of the Highlighters in pre corps by the president NieXinkun.I believe that the visions of the presidents are right and so are you.If I'm fortunately choosen to be the president, I will be as hardworking as our pri-president.Make even great progre and develop our corporation, for the endle ideas in my mind.I take up my task in light heart and hope.I feel sure that our cause will not be suffered to fail among men.I feel entitled at this juncture, at this time, to claim the aid of all and to say,“ Come then, let us go forward together with our united strength.” Yes, we can.Believe in me, today is your answer.
