> is one of the great novels of English literature.It's a story about love and revenge.I found this book in our senior high school library, I chose this book because the title attracted me.Then I spent twenty days reading this book.The whole story make people’s mood heavy.Fortunately, the end is happy.After reading this book,I realize something about this great novel.Emily Bronte is the author of this book,she lived an eccentric, closely guarded life.She was born in 1818,lived in Haworth, a Yorkshire village in the midst of the moors.and Emily lived among them her entire life.She died in 1848, at the age of thirty.Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights displays several characteristics of destructive relationships.Three of these are uncaring parents, marriage without knowing the person, and jealousy.The hostility and separation between father and son in this book shows that uncaring parents can cause serious damage in relationships with their children.Isabella married Heathcliff ,Catherine married Edgar ,And small Catherine married Linton ,These three failed marriages described in this novel show that knowing the person you will marry is very important.In the story, the two houses, Wuthering Heights and ThrushcroGrange, represent opposing worlds and values.the epilogue of this story Small Catherine and harry's inherited villa and farmstead industry, and they love, to the grange is a home.Today > is widely recognized as one of the great novels of English literature.I would like to recommend this book to other readers.
