魏野，字仲先，號草堂居士，是宋初著名的隱士和詩人，其生前就詩名顯赫，且詩歌已結集廣為流傳。
本論文立足於文本和史料的記載，從實證的角度對魏野的詩歌進行全面的分析研究。經論證得魏野是生於太祖建隆元年，即960年，卒于天禧三年十二月九日，即1019年。魏野是“先世蜀人，徙於陝州”。論文從宋初社會和宋初詩壇具體情況出發，呈現了宋初社會實行清靜無為的黃老之治，儒釋道三教並行，使整個社會彌漫著濃郁的隱逸氛圍。然後具體分析魏野的詩歌，從文本出發，對魏野詩歌的題材、內容、體裁和藝術特色等方面進行了深入的论文研究，尤其是其詩歌意象選取的獨特性，為辨別他的詩風特點做鋪墊。
總結前面對魏野詩歌的研究，第六章分別從詩風形成和詩風體派兩各方面來辨別魏野的詩風。明確了他的詩風不是單一的，不同于“晚唐體”的其他詩人，也不同于“白體”詩人的風格，是北宋詩壇的一種特殊現象。另外，他的詩歌，尤其是詠物詩，大多借詠物來說理，初露宋調的“以議論為詩”的特點，他能夠抓住微小的事物進行描寫，開拓了宋詩的題材。
他的詩歌既沒有“白體”那樣淺切易懂，也沒有“晚唐體”那麼追求“苦吟”。這是宋初詩壇的獨特之處，可以說魏野詩是兩種詩體的過渡和交集。

Wei Ye ,named Zhongxian,called Caotang Lay.He was a famous hermit and poet in Early Song Dynasty.He has great achievements in poems.He had poeed a great reputation before his death.His poetry were widespread.The thesis carries out the overall study and analysis of Wei Ye’s poem,collects and ownes the material.Thefirst chapter introduce Wei Ye,the studying condition in and out.Weiye was born in 960 and died in 1019.His ancestors lived in Bashu,and moved to Shan zhou(in Henan Province now).The thesis introduce the specific circumstances of society and Parnaus in Early Song Dynasty.It has the policy and the religions.The chapter four and five study in detail Wei Ye’s poem in terms of content,subject,style and artistic characteristics.Summarized the study in the ftont,the chapter six carefully analyses his prosody,and concludes that the poems of Wei Ye is the combination of Bai Juyi’s style and late Tang style.He makes great contribution to the development of Song Poem.Weiye’s poetry is not shallow-cut and understandable of Bai Juyi’s style and doesn’t write poetry hardly.This is an unique phenomenon in Early Song Dynasty.Weiye is a transition of late Tang style of Bai Juyi’s style.
