Hello everyone!My name is Jianglan from TMKT team.Today I will tell you something about reading and just like Maxim Gorky’s said:”books are the ladder of human progre”, so reading is very important for all of us.Here I have three points: First, I will tell you how reading can make your life enjoyable.Secondly, I will show you why reading is knowledge which can help you self developed.Finally, I will describe that reading will make the society developed.I hope my following talking would convince you and if you have any question, I will be very happy to answer you after my talk.I will start with how reading can make your life enjoyable.Reading is a good way to relax you and you can get a lot of fun in the books.A good book is a good friend to comfort you when you are unhappy, so long as you have a good book at hand, you'll never feel lonely.On the other hand, every valuable book will open a new world before you.Let’s move to the second part: reading is knowledge which is helpful for your career development.With the development of science and technology, new knowledge comes every day and if you stop learning even for a day, you will be lost.Reading also is a good way to help you keep in touch with the outside world.Read widely and you'll be rich in knowledge.In China, there are also many old sayings talking about reading books.For example, “书中自有颜如玉，书中自有黄金屋。” Which means in books you can find not only gold but also glowing beauty.Here is another one:“开卷有益”means “To open a book is always helpful”, it clearly tells us how good it is to read a book.They introduce us different kinds of knowledge and they lead us down the road to succe.Okay, let’s talk about the final part.Actually it’s a conclusion;reading will make the society developed if all the people have the habit of reading.If you agree with my first two points, you will accept it.One is never too old to learn.No matter what time you realize the importance of reading, you can enjoy it during the rest of your lifetime.That’s all my sharing of today and I really hope my talking has made you understood these benefits of reading.Please remember: Love reading, for it’s your best friend.Thank you for your time and see you next time.
