Advertisement: Angels or Evils? Advertising can be a service to customers.This is true when ads give reliable information about the goods advertised.Such information is needed if the customer is to make a wise choice when he buys goods in the shops.Printed ads do this job best.Customers can collect them and compare them.They can be used to check against the actual goods in the shops.Some ads are not very useful to customers.Instead of helping the customer to satisfy his real needs, they set out to make him want things by doing ads cleverly.The people who produce them understand our weaknees.They set out to make us believe that what they advertise will make us cleverer, prettier, or more handsome, if only we use it.For example, the voice on TV says, “By using SK-II, it makes your skin crystal.” The screen shows a series of pictures in which a famous actre not only has her skin whitened but also has her pronounced wrinkles silkily smoothed.Some ladies with dark skin will be persuaded to choose that cosmetic(化妆品).【写作内容】

The Use of Advertisements
From the paage we know that advertisements can be useful when they provides the customers with reliable information, while some advertisements are produced only to persuade customer to buy what they don’t need.Nowadays we can see advertisements everywhere, such as on TV, in the newspapers, on the Internet and so on.Nobody can avoid being influenced by them.Why is advertising so popular? Undoubtedly, with the developing competitive ecnomy,there are many similar products from different companies and it is ads that can help the customers have a better choice when they want to buy the products.Some people are in favor of advertisements because they can get the latest and detailed information needed more conveniently through them.Moreover, some people enjoy the stories and ideas in the ads.However, some hate them for the reason that some false advertisements mislead the customers by using part of the truth to suggest something false.Worse still, by using the famous stars for advertising, it makes the prices much higher.In my opinion, the advertisement is a neceity in modern society.Towards it, a correct attitude should be held: let advertisements serve our life, but never easily believe them.
