近年来，书面表达的命题内容更加注重贴近考生的实际生活，注重情景交际。命题的形式也越来越灵活，大有半开放性的命题趋势，留给考生发挥空间也就相对比较大了。如何在较短的复习时间里搞好书面表达的专题训练呢？本文总结了一些方法，希望能给同学们提供一些帮助。
第一、认真审题，把握所有信息。
以2009年湖南高考英语书面表达为例，此次书面表达属于半开发性作文，要求考生以一个老师的身份，给朋友写一封信，介绍一件发生在课堂上难忘的事情，并就此事写出自己的感想。
第二、确定体裁，把握行文格式。
考生确定要写文章的体裁，并迅速组织写作素材，思考行文格式。例如：写记叙文时，考生可以选择生活中的典型材料（如一个生活侧面、一个精彩场面、一个动人片断）作为自己的写作素材。写作时，记叙文的六个要素一定要清楚：时间（time）、地点（place）、人物(people)、事件(event)、原因(cause)和结果(effect)。以2009年湖南高考英语书面表达为例，写作的素材应该是“发生在课堂里让人印象深刻或者有意义的一件事情”，地点自然就是在教室里，时间应定格在过去，短文时态也就为过去时态，人物是老师和学生。对事件发生后的感想，是本篇文章的写作难点，也是体现写作的开放性特点，这是考查学生思维能力、语言表达能力的一个方面。考生一定要仔细斟酌，“感想”发挥得好，一定会为文章增色不少。第三、罗列提纲，思考表达方式。

第四、组织语言，展开写作。
写作时，运用熟悉的英语词汇、句型等，对于没有把握的地方，要灵活变通；要尽量运用多样化的句式，注意长短句的结合、简单句和复合句的结合；要注意上下文的衔接，过渡要自然；还要注意书写规范，做到卷面干净，字迹清晰。
第五、认真检查，查漏补缺。
检查语法是否真确，标点、拼写是否有误；检查句式结构有无变化，过渡性的词语或句子是否得当；检查词汇是否太小，是否出现同义词或词组重复过多的情况。总之，要夯实自己的语言基本功，打好坚实的基础，提高准确应用词汇和正确使用句型结构的能力，以及语句的组织衔接和布局谋篇的能力。
