一、复旦大学简介
复旦大学创建于1905年，原名复旦公学。“复旦”两字由学校创始人、中国近代知名教育家马相伯先生选自《尚书大传·虞夏传》中“日月光华，旦复旦兮”的名句。1917年改为私立复旦大学，下设文、理、商三科以及预科和中学部。1937年抗战爆发后，学校内迁重庆北碚，于1941年改为“国立”。1946年迁回上海江湾原址。1952年全国高等学校院系调整后初成文理科综合大学，成为直属国家教育部领导的全国重点大学。历经几代复旦人的艰苦创业和努力奋斗，20世纪80年代以后，尤其是通过国家教育部和上海市共同建设以及“七五”、“八五”和“九五”的重点建设，复旦逐步发展成为一所包含人文科学、社会科学、自然科学、技术科学以及管理科学在内的多科性研究型综合大学。2000年4月27日上海医科大学与复旦大学合并，成立新的复旦大学。如今的复旦大学，学科门类更为齐全，综合实力更加强大。
复旦大学现任校长为王生洪教授，党委书记为秦绍德教授，名誉校长为中国科学院院士苏步青教授。
复旦大学校训：“博学而笃志，切问而近思”；校风：“文明、健康、团结、奋发”；学风：“刻苦、严谨、求实、创新”。
学校现有新闻学院、法学院、经济学院、管理学院、技术科学与工程学院、生命科学学院、上海医学院等14个全日制学院，含有71个系，67个学士学位专业，一级学科博士学位授权点20个，二级学科博士学位授权点103个，硕士学位授权点148个，并设有22个博士后科研流动站，有40个学科被国家教育部批准为全国重点学科，居全国第三位。此外，学校还设有71个研究所、101个跨系科的研究中心。目前在校各类学生41,500余人，其中普通本专科生15,700余人，硕士、博士生94,00人，外国留学生1,600余人。
学校目前占地面积近140公顷，校舍建筑面积100多万平方米，全校固定资产超过13亿元。学校现有各类实验室130多个，其中有5个国家重点实验室，7个教育部重点实验室，5个卫生部重点实验室；7个教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地；拥有文理医3个图书馆，全校共有藏书416万册，期刊总数超过2.5万种，均居全国高校前列。
复旦大学把培养具有全面素质的高质量人才作为教学的根本目标。学校注意从自己的实际出发，大胆吸收国内外高校的成功经验，注重加强学科间的渗透、交叉、组合，发挥综合性大学多学科的特色和优势，经过长期的实践和探索，已经建立起一套比较完整的、有自身特点的教学计划和管理体系。学科建设全面启动，发展势头良好。学校在“通才教育，按类教学”的原则下，按照“厚基础、宽口径、重能力、求创新”的教学理念，将“普通教学、基础教学、专业教学”三个方面的教学内容，有机地结合起来，注重个性发展，使学生获得系统的知识和实践锻炼的机会。学校重视第二课堂的教育，以德育为核心，培养学生创新能力和实践能力，成效显著。学校的研究生教育质量不断提高，历届全国优秀博士学位论文入选总真的不掉线吗？？、？？？？？？？？？？？？
