Then there’s no doubt that the right of disabled and the owners of buildings could be protected at the same time, avoiding the conflicts between 3 sides.Sub point 2: It won’t require too much room and money to build acce and facilities for disabled people.Talking about the financial support, the government could use the tax revenue to construct facilities which is much more worthwhile than losing the money in the corrupt officials.Otherwise, depending on charity organizations is another excellent way to solve the financial problems.On the other hand, I would list what changes will actually take place in the buildings to accommodate disabled ones.These steps could include, where reasonable, making structural or physical changes to buildings, such as: 1.widening doorways to allow a wheelchair to pa through easily 2.replacing steps with ramps 3.relocating light switches and door handles for someone who has difficulty in reaching 4.putting in place audio-visual fire alarms 5.providing acceible toilet facilities for disabled employees From the list, we could tell that those steps are totally small changes which just means replacement or complement.That won’t cost so much money or even much room anyway.Sub point 3: Public places should install barrier-free facilities as stipulated in the relevant laws and regulations.The Law on theProtection of Persons with Disabilities forbids discrimination based on disability and requires public buildings and employment centers to be acceible to people with disabilities.According to Code for design on acceibility of urban road and buildings, the 712nd article, when there’s stairs in front of the entrance of public buildings, it is neceary to set up wheel chairs,ramps and handrails.The laws all aims at bringing convenience for the disabled ones.However, admirable as this is, it is more important to make our society friendlier for people with disabilities.And we must make great efforts to protect their rights instead of ignoring them.
