With the development of economy and technology, Internet-based is becoming more and more popular.Some people think the Internet-based learning will one day replace school education.But I don’t think they are right.For many students, Internet-based learning is the most convenient way to have claes.A lot of these students are attracted to a flexible, self-paced method of education to get their degree.It is important to note that many of these students could be working their way through college, supporting themselves or battling with serious illne.Moreover, in e-learning claes, students are free to log on and complete work any time they wish.They can work on and complete their homework at the times when they think suitable, whether it be early in the morning or late at night.However, “Every coin has its two sides”.Many teachers have a harder time keeping their students engaged in an e-learning cla.One reason why students are more likely to be disengaged is that the lack of face-to-face contact makes it difficult for teachers to read their students' feelings including confusion, boredom or frustration.These cues are helpful to a teacher in deciding whether to speed up, introduce new material, slow down or explain a concept in a different way.What’s more, Internet-based learning make students lack of social interaction between teacher and students, which is the important for young students.To sum up, the disadvantages of Internet-based learning seem worse.So, in my opinion, Internet-based learning will go on exist but won’t replace school education.It may be popular in continuous education which serve for students that are busy all day.School education will never been replaced by anything at primary or schools.
