Love Is A Telephone

Love is a telephone which always keeps silent when you are longing for a call, but rings when you are not ready for it.As a result, we often mi the sweetne from the other end.Love is a telephone which is always busy, When you are ready to die for love, you only find, to your disappointment, the line is already occupied by someone else, and you are greeted only by a busy line.This is an eternal [ɪ'tɜːn(ə)l] regret [rɪ'gret]handed down from generation to generation and you are only one of those who languish ['læŋgwɪʃ] for followers.Love is a telephone which, when you use it for the first time, makes you so nervous and excited that you either hold the receiver upside down or dial ['daɪəl] the wrong number.By the time you've calmed down, you will beat a lo to whom you should make the call.Love is a telephone which often has croed lines.And this usually happens to you unexpectedly.Your time will either cro or be croed.Both cases are refereed [refə'riː] to as “triangle”.Fortunately ['fɔrtʃənətli], all such occurrences [ə'kʌr(ə)ns] are transient ['trænzɪənt].Work and Play

It seems that not everyone experiences this kind of strong love.The increasing [ɪn'kriːsɪŋ] poverty, crime [kraɪm] and war tell us that the world is in desperate ['desp(ə)rət] need of true love.But, what is true love?

Love is something we all need, but how do we know when we've experienced [ɪk'spɪərɪənst] it?

True love is best seen as devotion [dɪ'vəʊʃ(ə)n] and action, not an emotion.True love is when you care enough about another person that you would lay down your life for them.When this happens, then love truly is “as strong as death.”

How many of you have a father or mother, husband or wife, son or daughter or friend who would sacrifice his or her own life for yours?

Many people, in emergency [ɪ'mɜːdʒ(ə)nsɪ] rooms with their loved ones have prayed, “Please God, take me instead of them”.Find true love and be a true lover as well.May you find the love which is not only stronger than death, but which leads to a truly fulfilling [fʊl'fɪlɪŋ] life.Open The Closed Doors Of he Heart

What will matter is not what you bought, but what you built;not what you got, but what you gave.What will matter is not what you learned, but what you taught.What will matter is not your competence ['kɒmpɪt(ə)ns], but your character.What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting lo when you're gone.What will matter is not your memories, but the memories of those who loved you.Choose to live a life that matters.Television

Television presents a vivid ['vɪvɪd] world in front of us.We can bring the theater, art, concerts, and sports events into our homes when we might otherwise never be able to see them.Television brings the world to people who cannot travel.Television can play an educational role in our daily life.Not only can we hear and see news as it happens, we can actually ['æktjʊəlɪ] observe the paces and the people involved.Also people are able to take college courses by television.We are more knowledgeable ['nɒlɪdʒəb(ə)l] of the whole world because of television.However, television can also be harmful.Many of the programs now available [ə'veɪləb(ə)l] show violence ['vaɪəl(ə)ns] and scenes [siːn] which are harmful to young people.Some students watch television instead of studying and doing exercise.Even though TV can educate and bring the world to us, we must carefully select the programs to watch.关于举办全县初中英语教师口语大赛的通知

各学区管委会、局属初中、民办学校：为了进一步深化全县英语课程改革，全面提高全县英语教师的综合素养，促进教师专业化发展，提升教师专业化水平，提高英语课堂教学效率，经研究决定举办全县初中英语教师口语大赛。具体事宜通知如下：

一、参赛时间

12月28日上午7:30—11:30

二、参赛地点

怀远一中南校学术报告厅。

三、比赛流程

1.抽签选读一篇短文。2.抽签进行命题说话。

四、报名时间

12月6日—12月21日

五、其他要求

1.名额分配：各学区管委会为2—3名，局属各初中、民办初中为2名。

2.各单位要高度重视，务必选拔优秀教师参加本次大赛，在规定时间内把参赛名单上报教育局教研室。
