Having read all four novels of the series, I was excited to see the book brought to the screen.Of course, expectations were low because books are generally always better than the movies.Obviously, if you have read the books, you are most likely going to be disappointed.Summit took Twilight for granted, thinking Robert Pattinson was going to save the day by being a teen heart-throb.Which for all the pre-pubicient teen girls was good enough.When you pick up Twilight, it is a non-stop page turner, leaving the reader wanting more.The movie, on the other hand, left me thinking, “they couldn't be more far off of the book.”

The scenes or characters did not make people believe Bella and Edward were in heart-stopping, I can't breathe without you love.In the books, Edward is a smooth and confident individual, but in the movie Edward seems awkward around Bella, moving his face in weird expreions, as if he didn't feel anything for her except an obligation to protect her.Edward should not cringe when he is with Bella, he should embrace her.Bella was even more disappointing.Does Kristen Stewart even feel emotions because she acted more like a robot.Continuing with the characters, they were casted pretty well.Alice and Emmett are absolutely perfect.Alice needs to be a little bit more chipper like she has had way to much coffee, but other then that no complaints.The potential is there for New Moon.I understand that books need to be adapted for the big screen, so of course there are going to be changes here and there, but to leave out important scenes and put unneceary ones is pointle.For instance, the meadow scene.One of the most pivotal parts in the book, where Edward lets down his guard to exposes himself to Bella looses all its magic in the movie.Every scene flies by way too fast just so they could fit everything in the movie.Jacob, who plays a major role in New Moon was barely introduced.They basically slapped a wig on Taylor Lautner(Jacob Black)and said action.Jacob has a rivalry with Edward with not just land, but wants Bella to choose him and not Edward
