Good morning my admirable profeors and dear fellows.It is a great honor to be here to introduce myself to all of you.My name is Li Qianhui and I’m eighteen years old.I come from the city of Dalian in Liaoning Province, which is a famous and beautiful seaside city.After three year’s hard work, I am happy to be enrolled by our vocational college.I’m pleased to share my experiences and feelings and my dreams with you.I’m outgoing and I have many interests, such as skating, swimming, listening to music,watching movie and shopping.But in particularly, I am fond of reading.Since both my father and mother are teachers, they particularly cultivated my interest in reading books.My earliest
memories of reading are from when I was little, my mom would take me to the library and let me pick out a stack of books.Then we would go home and read them together.Moreover, during my years of primary school, the teachers also placed great
importance on reading.Everyday our teacher gave us a piece of writing as a regular aignment.We were usually required to write a short comment on what we had read.The student that gave meaningful and insightful opinions had an opportunity to speak publicly.At that time my big pride is often being asked to speak in front of the cla.So books are my best friends that went along with me through six years of middle school days.Reading really plays a significant role in my growth.Now I am in college.It has been more than three months since I came here.Here many things impreed me so much, such as the large and beautiful campus, magnificent and grand buildings,kind and helpful teachers ,the friendly
clamates and so on.I think I have learned a lot from here.Living away from parents teaches me to live independently.I come to realize that friendship and hard work are eential and valuable.I learn to be able to get along well with my clamates.Now I am an adult.I should take responsibility for my life and future.First I plan to finish my Aociate in Building Cost Technology.After this I am going to further my study to obtain bachelor degree in Science Engineering.My career goal is to get promoted to a building cost engineer.I believe I am a conscientious, modest and responsible person.I have full confidence that I can achieve my goal.I have a dream.My dream is to become a succeful engineer.After graduation, I wish I could find a good job, earn a lot of money, open my own busine and then I would support the poor students in faraway backward mountain villages to return back to schools.I wish I could make contributions to the development of our country.My dream is make our country become stronger and stronger.All people have a happy life in the future.That's all.Thank you.Thank you for your attention.
