个旧市锡工艺美术厂是建国以来第一家锡工艺品厂，工厂成立于1978年，是一个以锡都特产的高纯度精锡为原料利用传统手工艺与现代技术相结合加工锡制工艺品的省级先进企业。
Founded in 1978 and as the first tin crafts plant since founding of the country, Gejiu Tin Crafts and Finearts Factory is a provincial advanced enterprise proceing tin crafts, with refined tin of high purity specially produced in Tin City as the material, and a combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technologies.锡工艺品起源于明末清初，历史悠久，有茶具贮茶色味千年不变，酒具盛酒冬暖夏凉、淳厚清洌的特性。个旧锡工艺美术厂生产的锡工艺品经卫生防疫部门鉴定，符合食用卫生标准，无毒无害。企业将传统工艺与现代科学配方相结合，所制工艺品其色似银、亮如镜、光彩夺目、独具风格。远销德国、瑞士、英国、法国、美国、台湾、港澳等三十多个国家和地区。
The tin handicrafts were originated in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, time-honored, featuring perpetual color and flavor of the tea contained in tin tea sets,warmth in winter and coolne in summer, marvelous tastine and fragrance of wine held in tin wine sets.The tin crafts manufactured by Gejiu Tin Crafts and Finearts Factory have been tested in line with food hygiene standards by the health and epidemic prevention departments, nontoxic and harmle.Through the combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern scientific formula, the crafts made boast silver-like color, are bright as mirror, dazzling, with unique style, and exported to more than thirty countries and regions such as Germany, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao etc.建厂30余年来，我们发展辉煌，1980年，我们的产品荣获云南省和国家轻工部优质产品称号，1985年获国家银杯奖，成为国优产品。1990年在中国妇女儿童用品博览会上获[金奖]。其中，1986年生产的八件工艺品：笔筒、笔洗、小水烟筒、花耳香炉、龙耳香炉、唐马、凤烛台、牛顶罐，被评为国家一级珍品永
久收藏于国家博物馆；1991年时任中共中央政治局常委全国人大委员长乔石同志亲切视察我厂。
Since opening busine more than 30 years ago, we have reaped brilliant glories: our products won the title of “Quality Products” from Yunnan Provincial and the Ministry of Light Industry in 1980, the “National Silver Cup Award” in 1985, becoming national best products, and the “Gold Award” on the China Women and Children Goods Fairs 1990.Thereinto, eight crafts made in 1986, e.g., pen holder, brush washer, mini water pipe, censer with floral ears, censer with dragon-esque ears, tricolored horse(tin-made), phoenix candlestick, Ox-standing jar, were rated as national-level treasures to be permanently collected by the National Museum.In 1991, Qiao Shi, the then member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC and Chairman of National People's Congre amicably inspected our factory.1999年，在云南省经贸委、省轻纺厅、省旅游局主办的“云南省首届旅游商品展销会”上，个旧市锡工艺美术厂生产的锡工艺品荣获“云南省优秀旅游商品”。其中、小水烟筒、小狮头糖罐、酒具三件产品被中国99昆明世界园艺博览会纪念品开发办公室选为“99昆明世界园艺博览会纪念品”。2000年在“昆明国际商品交易会”上，荣获旅游商品一等奖，2002年新开发的工艺产品荣获旅游商品科技开发二等奖。
In 1999, the tin crafts produced by Gejiu Tin Crafts and Finearts Factory were honored “Excellent Tourist Commodities of Yunnan Province” at the “First Tourist Commodities Fair of Yunnan Province” which was sponsored by Yunnan Provincial Economic and Trade Commiion, Provincial Department of Textile Industry, Provincial Tourism Administration.Among which, the three crafts of mini water pipe, sugar pot in the shape of lion head, wine sets were selected as “Souvenirs of Kunming World Horticultural Exposition 1999” by the Souvenirs Development Office of the China Kunming World Horticultural Exposition 1999, and won the first prize for tourist commodities at the “Kunming International Commodities Fair” in 2000.The craft newly developed in 2002 was awarded the second prize for scientific and technological development of tourist commodities.2010年起，工厂斥巨资引入先进科技生产技术，调整产品生产结构，重组
工艺组织体系，以多元化组织体系工艺生产方式，使产品的商品价值属性得到多元开发，工艺达到国内外行业先进水平，已形成年产千万件的生产能力，并可根据国内外顾客的需求，制作不同规格、款式、用途的锡制工艺品。
Since 2010, the Factory invested heavily in introducing advanced and scientific production technologies, adjusted patterns of production, restructured organization of production proce, so as to diversely develop the value property of the product through diversified production mode and organization system, and rendered the proce industrial advanced level at home and abroad.The Factory has poeed the capacity to produce tens of million pieces a year, and can manufacture tin crafts of different types, styles and for different purposes according to the needs of customers from home and abroad.同期,我们引进冷压工艺，浇铸工艺、嵌包工艺及斑锡工艺等新型生产技术及现代化生产设备，结合设计创新，开启了“异形摆件”及“锡包器”的新篇章。并相继开发了一系列新产品。如：欧式酒具、乾坤壶、龙龟酒壶、十二生肖风光盘、宝象烟灰缸等。其中，“欧式酒具”、“乾坤酒具”、“吉祥如意茶叶罐”已于2011年获得外观设计专利。在倡导“银鸟”牌商标的同时，企业集中核心工艺匠师推出 “老锡匠”高端品牌系列，旗下产品大部以纯手工制作，凸显品牌的艺术与人文价值。在全厂严管质量的努力下，企业于2011年12月取得ISO9001：2008质量体系认证证书，成为行业内第一家也是仅有的一家通过国家质量认证体系的企业，在企业的生命上进一步保障了工厂的稳序发展。
In the same term, through introducing modern production facilities and new production technologies such as cold preing, casting, inlay and wrapping and mottled tin, combining with the innovation on design, we open a new chapter on special shape ornaments and tin wrapping utensil.A series of new products are produced in succeion, such as European style Wine Set, Qiankun Pot, Dragon and Tortoise Flagon, Plate with Chinese Zodiac on the bottom and Elephant Ashtray, etc.Thereinto, European style Wine Set, Qiankun Wine Set and Jixiang Ruyi Tea Caddy has acquired the design patent in 2011.The core craft technicians of the enterprise pushed out the Tinwork Master high-end brand series, which were prominent the art and human value of the brand with mostly hand-made products, meanwhile proposed the Yinniao brand products.Through the strict
quality control of the whole staff of the enterprise, the enterprise acquired the certificate of quality system ISO9001:2008 in December, 2011, being the first and the only one in the industry which paed the national quality system, further ensuring the stable and orderly development of the enterprise.现目前，企业的生产及销售规模正快速发展壮大，2012年，我们新开昆明、个旧、蒙自三个实体专卖店，淘宝、阿里巴巴、腾讯拍拍、慧聪网等电子商务平台也相继建立并取得长足发展，销售增长势头强劲，我们秉承“立足本土，拓展海外”的经营思想正快速挺进国内外工艺品市场，相信在不远的将来，我们必将百尺竿头，再创佳绩!
