Hello, everybody!Congratulations to you for being enrolled bySISU.Now you are my dear sisters and brothers.A year ago we were just like you, and we felt exciting and hopeful about the future as you do now.I gue some of you have already made a plan for your college life.But to be honest, most of your plans may not work.First of all, I would like to share you something interesting and relaxing.During my first year in this college, one of our teachers often suggested us to start a relationship.She often said:”wow!Look, how lovely you are!It’s the most beautiful age to fall in love with someone.And there’s one thing you must do in your college is to start a relationship.” Then all of us laughed as we always do, and she continued:”I really mean it!My dear students just go to find someone to love during your four years here.” Then, we laughed again, in fact, we laughed not because we don’t agree with her, it’s just so unbelievable that a teacher told us to do the thing we always been told not to do.A year past, it seems her word doesn’t work.I think about the reasons, and I found it.Men in our school are rare animals, a real man in our school has almost died out.Ha-ha-ha, I’m just kidding.Hope your brothers who want to get your heart do not be mad on me.But girls I think you will catch this jokes’ laugh point one day.Well, as your school sister, today I am standing here not only tell you something interesting, but also I have some useful suggestions for all of you, I hope it can be helpful to you.No.1 attend all claes It can be easy to skip claes when you are not required to go, but you should attend all cla seions.If you mi cla, you might also mi important information that could be on an exam, extra-credit opportunities or pop quizzes.Going to cla also ensures recognize your face and learn your name.Getting to know your instructors are valuable, because they are often more willing to help you if you have been showing up to cla consistently.NO.2 get involved Getting involved in campus life, sports or other social activities can help you succeed in college.Building friendships and creating a support network of other students is invaluable when you are away from home for the first time, need help or find a job.Staying active, social and involved can also help you once you graduate, because many aociations will aist you with career planning and networking.No.3 starts the semester off with/(keep)good eating habits.It sounds so minor, but eating healthy in college really can make a difference.Eating healthy as soon as you arrive can keep your immune system up, give you the energy you need, and help set great habits for the next few years of your college life.Well, all above are much as poible as I can say.I wish you can know more about college life through my speech, and may you have a wonderful college life.Thank you for listening!
