Hero which means a person who has the ability to do something good or make the world better place and who is therefore greatly admired by a lot of people.In comics, superheroes such as The Flash, Superman, and Green Arrow etc.are known by people in this world.When I was a child, I dreamt to be a hero like The Flash.Because I believe being fast is very cool and fantastic.So whenever it was raining I would hope the lighting could change me into The Flash.Obviously, that hasn’t happened but my understanding of hero changed instead.As time paed by, I started to learn more about this world.By reading news, I found some people in our daily life are just like those superhero.Yet, they don’t have superpowers like those superheroes.We all heard about the huge explosion in Tianjin in 2015, right? It was a devastating disaster.A lot of people are dead or got hurt because of it.Policemen and firefighters arrived at the place and saved a lot of people.The hazardous chemicals are burnt and exploded, increasing the difficulty for the firefighters to rescue people.Many policemen and firefighters lost their lives during this rescue miion.When people are running away from the explosion area, the emergency workers are running in the opposite direction.Therefore, they are the unsung heroes.These unsung heroes don’t have a superpower, but they saved a lot of people.This catastrophe has changed my mind about heroes.I started to pay attention to the people around me.The more I look around, the more heroes I see in our daily lives.It turns out everyone in this society can be a hero.We don’t have to have amazing superpowers, we just need to have, what I call, heroic spirits, the positive energy, to do something good.In other words, If you want to do good things for other people, you have a moral obligation to do something good, even great, and that is the hero in your heart.That is the hero we need in real life.In conclusion, the hero in my heart could be anyone.So take the chance to be someone’s hero.Thank you for listening.Hugh
