①整点的表达：一般用法，基数词或者阿拉伯数字 + o’ clock，9:00——9点整——9 o’ clock——nine o’ clock 都读作nine o’ clock。

②非整点时间的表达：一般用法，点的基数词 + 分的基数词 6:45=six forty-five10:01=ten o one（零发字母o的音），特殊的表达： 一刻（十五分）= a quarter半小时（三十分）= half几点超过几分钟（不超过30分），分的基数词 + past + 点的基数词 1:30=half past one8:15=a quarter past eight9:00=seven past nine 差几分到几点（超过30分），分的基础词 + to + 点的基础词 1:45=a quarter to two8:50=ten to nine9:57=three to ten

③表达早上的时间后面加am，下午的时间后面加 pm

am=in the morningpm=in the afternoon

例如： 早上8点： 8:00 am 或者 eight o’ clock in the morning

下午3点： 3:00 pm 或者 there o’ clock in the afternoon

提问时间：what time is it ？

④月份（month）的表达：January n.一月，正月(略写为 Jan.)

February n.二月(略写为 Feb.)March n.三月(略写为 Mar.)

April n.四月(略写为 Apr.)May/mei/ n.五月

June n.六月(略写为 Jun.)

July n.七月(略写为 Jul.)

August n.八月(略写为 Aug.)September n.九月(略写为 Sept.)October n.十月(略写为 Oct.)November n.十一月(略写为 Nov.)

⑤季节（seasons）的表达：春天= spring 夏天= summer 秋天= autumn或fall 冬天= winter ⑥星期的表达：Monday（星期一）Tuesday（星期二）Wednesday（星期三）Thursday

（星期四）Friday（星期五）Saturday（星期六）Sunday（星期日）

提问星期：what day is it today ？

⑦日期的表达：xx月xx日一般表达为：月份 + 日期序数词 如： 1988年10月23号— October 23（rd），1988 读作： October twenty-third nineteenth eighty-eight。提问日期：what’s the date today ？

⑧介词在时间表达中的用法：

表示具体的时间点前用 at，具体的某一天前用 on。

表示在某一年、某一季节、某一月内用 in。

表示将来的某一段时间内也用 in。

表达的时间点不够准确用 about，表示大概、大约的意思。
