学校简介
北京工业大学是一所国家“211工程”重点建设的多科性的市属重点大学，2003年教育部本科教学被评为优秀。2008年奥运会羽毛球暨艺术体操比赛将在建设中的北京工业大学体育馆举行。学校下设16个学院，44个本科专业。有8个一级学科博士学位授予点，37个二级学科博士学位授予点，9个博士后科研流动站，80个硕士学位授予点，14个工程硕士授权培养领域。有2个国家级重点学科，8个北京市重点学科，11个北京市重点建设学科。现有全日制在校生16000余人。学校在教育、科研与学术方面与美国、英国、德国、日本、加拿大、俄罗斯等国家和地区近百所大学、科研机构和企业建立了合作和联系。
Brief Introduction
Beijing University of Technology, ranked as one of the 100 key universities for the 21st century, is a university under theadministration of the Beijing municipal government, which has established a multi-disciplinary academic structure.And ithas built the badminton stadium and rhythmic gymnastics stadium for the 2008 Olympic Games on campus.The universityhas established 16 colleges, which offer 44 Bachelor’s Degree programs, 80 Master’s programs, 14 Engineering Master’sDegree programs, 45 Doctor’s Degree programs and 9 postdoctoral research stations, among which there are 2 national, 8municipal and 11 being-established key subjects.Currently there are more than 16,000 students.At the same time, it hasestablished cooperation and contact with nearly a hundred universities, research agencies and enterprises from manycountries, such as US, UK, Germany, Japan, Canada, Ruia and etc.艺术设计学院
