a.Wealth is not equal to happine. equal
adj.相同的,相等的They are of equal height.他们一样高。
The two men are equal in ability.这两个人能力相等。

be equal to 表示“等于”“能胜任”“能应付”等，其中的 to 是介词
This is equal to saying that he knows her well.这就等于说他很熟悉她。He is equal to(the job of)running the office.他能胜任管理办公室(的工作)。 有时可用其他连系动词代替 be。
She didn’t feel equal to receiving visitors.她感到身体不适，不能会客。 vt.等于,比得上

The desk is made of wood.而be made from.是不可以看出原料的.例如

1.一般只用作及物动词，其宾语可以是“实现”的目标、目的等，也可以是“取得”的胜利、成功、名誉、地位等：Evrybody should be given the chance to achieve their aims.要让每个人都有机会实现自己的目标。/ She achieved no succe.她有没获得成功。偶尔用作不及物动词(表示“获得成功”或“如愿以偿”)，但很少见：He achieved because he worked hard.他因为工作努力获得了成功。
2.有时与 this, that, what, all, much, anything, nothing, a little 等代词连用，表示“获得(成功)”或“取得(成就)”等：No one can achieve anything without effort.谁也不可能不努力而有所作为。All this cannot be achieved overnight.这一切不是朝夕之间可做到的。I’ve achieved only half of what I hoped to do.我只完成了我原想完成的一半。我只完成了我原想完成的一半。
3.因 achieve 一般与令人愉快的事(如：成功、成就等)连用，所以不要受汉语的影响滥用

(句中的关系代词whom代替the patient，在从句中作介词on的宾语，而且介词on提到关系代词的前面，所以who 和whom就绝不可以通用了，此处只能用whom.)

(句中的关系代词whom(who)代替the girl，在从句中作介词to的宾语，但是由于介词to已提到了关系代词的前面，who 和whom就绝不可以通用了，所以如果还继续使用who句子就错了。此处只能用whom.)
在定语从句中that可以指人或物，代替who，whom，which，在从句中作
主语或动词宾语（不能放在介词后面作介词宾语）。

1．当先行词是anything, everything, nothing(something 除外), few, all,none, little, some等代词时，或者是由every, any, all, some, no, little, few, much，each等修饰时

(2)There seems to be nothing that seems impoible for him in the world.(3)All that can be done has been done.(4)There is little that I can do for you.注意：当先行词指人时，偶尔也可以用who
