Ladies and gentleman:

The topic I want to talk about today is “Cherish the tears of earth and the resources of human.” As we all know, human beings regard the annual March 22nd as “ world water day.” Water is the source of life.As a matter of fact, everything in Nature isn't able to exist without water.However, the world we live in is now faced with a severe shortage of fresh water.With the rapid development of social economy, many factories has sprung up,which has caused a host of problems concerning water pollution.According to some official figures,only one percent of fresh water can be used in our daily life.Neverthele,water is abused, wasted and polluted substantially.It is generally believed that water is indispensable to our life,the progre of civilization,the development of economy and the stable of society.If we are continued to destroy and waste water resources,the last drop of water will be the tears of human beings.There is a growing of awarene that we ought to protect and conserve water resources.How should we on earth make tremendous effort to gain increasing control over our own water resources? As far as I am concerned, what really matters is have people attach importance to the situation about the shortage of fresh water.At the same time, the methods of recycling the water resource ought to be advocated.What's more, the government should formulate certain laws.Only in this way can we not be thirsty for water in the future.Thank you!

珍惜地球之泪，人类之源

今天我讨论的话题是“珍惜地球之泪，人类之源。”众所周知，每年的3月22日是“世界水日。”水是生命的源泉，其实，大自然中的一切离开了水都不能生存。

但是，我们现在所生存的世界正面临着严重的缺水问题。随着社会经济的快速发展，许多工厂不断出现，这一切已经引起了大量的水污染问题。根据官方数据统计，地球上只有1%的淡水资源用于我们的日常生活。然而，水却被大量的滥用，浪费，污染。即使我们都知道水对我们的生活，人类文明的进步，经济大发展和社会的稳定都极其重要。如果我们继续破坏和浪费水资源，那么世界上的最后一滴水将会是我们的眼泪。

人类都已经意识到我们应该保护和节约水资源。那么我们究竟应该如何努力控制我们的水资源呢？我认为，真正重要的是让人们重视淡水资源短缺的情况。同时，我们应该提倡水资源的循环利用。再者，政府应该制定相关法律。只有这样未来我们才不会缺少水资源。
