After these two claes, I’m just thinking what the highlights of the two claes are.The first cla shows us how students learn.The teaching aims of this cla are clear.And after the presentation and practice, students in the cla can use the sentence patterns freely.The teacher’s teaching methods are various.There are many pictures.They are attractive for the students in Grade 7 and can arouse their interest.Students can listen, practice drills with their partners, make a report and write a routine.They study in different ways and finish the task easily and quickly.About the second cla, I think it is very special.In her cla, she focuses on the reading strategies.The teaching aims base on the knowledge transfer.For example, the students can read the next paage with the skills of skimming to get the main idea that they have learned from the first one.They can know what the second paage is about quickly.The students’ reading skills will be improved a lot after the cla.And when the students read the material aloud, I think they can understand the material better and of course their reading speed will be improved, too.These are good for the beginners.Reading is a vital part of English studying.Besides doing more reading practice, teaching reading strategies is neceary in our cla.I think these claes has practical value.Thank you!
