The end of the year is often a time of many events--wrapping up busine for the year while also wrapping holidaypresents.This article presents something you can give to yourself--something that you can get done during the holiday lull or oversome vacation days--a quick and easy proce for examining whatyou've accomplished in your career this year and where you want togo with it next year。

Most peoplehave some idea of what they want to accomplish next in theircareers, such as getting a promotion and/or raise or perhapsachieving better work/life balance.Setting some goals is animportant activity because goals help provide the focus you need tomove your career forward--and to avoid distractions or activitiesthat may slow your career progre(or worse, devalue you).So, ifyou had any goals for this year, answer these questions:
