My Working Experience
As a senior college student, I need to find a job or part-time job to fulfill my working experience.Last summer vocation , I helped my father run his store for a whole holiday , about two months.Though its tired and energy consuming, I learnt a great deal from this temporary job.It taught me whatever you d o ,you must stick to perseverance , persistence and sweat.My father runs a store for ten years , its also the main source of my tuition fee and living expenses in college.Last summer I was free at home and helped him of the busine of the store, The store sells many kinds of articles for daily use,like shampoo ,face cleaner ,face cream, washing powder and so on.My father gave me the main running power of the store , that meant I have to run the sore on my own and do the busine independently.Things are harsh to me in several days.I had to get up very early at about six and open the roller shutter ,then I started do the cleaning and arrange everything in order.And I went to breakfast very soon.After finishing this, I began a day long life of a storekeeper.Customers came to my store to buy what they need, They paid me money and I gave what they need, It seemed so simple, But its not so easy in reality, because busine is a kind of art in some sense.“customer is always right” is the best principle.You have to be always smiling and polite ,the customers can bargain with you and you have to be very patient ,sometimes you may meet with some impolite customer and what all you can do is patient and polite.Besides ,you have to watch some thieves.I felt nervous and exhausted at first, but I gradually got used to the tired but fulfilling life.After a month or so.I could master the busine skillfully although I also met some problems like quarrel with some rude customers and return, and it need my fathers help and education
Two months work has made me realized that doing busine a kind of art and it needs your wisdom and sweat.I also learnt the hardship of my father and difficulty of his effort to support the family.It made me understand comprehensively the saying “No Pains, No Gains”.The temporary job not only make acquired the working experience and money but also the sense of responsibility.And I will be harder in later days.
