As a new staff of xxx, I took a two-day training program on July 8th and July 9th.In the program, I got a clear idea of the development and the basic operation structure about our company.Comply with the company development direction, I also made my own career development plan in the near future.Our company xxx is a global company and the largest international engineering design, purchase, project execution management service provider in China.According to the introduction of president xxx, our company already has over 2200 staffs in China now and plans to enlarge the staff population to 5000 until 2015.Thus we can see our company is taking a very high speed to develop in China.Besides, I got to know our company businees include Hydrocarbons, petroleum and gas, metallurgical and mining, power, basic infrastructure construction and environment engineering etc.As a whole, I think xxx is a young company but with great potential.Its increasing strength is bringing us a lot of learning and practicing opportunities.As for myself, I feel glad to join the Hydrocarbons department to work as an aistant piping engineer.Although I just graduated from the university, I have made my mind to try my best to accomplish each working task and take every opportunity to cultivate myself to be an experienced, highly skilled engineer in the first place, thus making myself prepared for the more challenged work in the future.xxx

From July 12th, our new staffs took an engineering software training program.In this program, we learnt how to use those drawing software such as Microstation, PDS, Auto CAD which will be very useful in the future work.Through this training, I grasped the basic engineering software application skill.The training tutors are all very experienced engineers.Under their guidance, we learnt how to use those software to draw pictures.During the proce, our new staffs also discued to solve problems when meeting with difficulties, from which I felt how it is important to work with other people.I think this training is very important and meaningful because it broadened what we have learnt in school before.This training provided us with opportunity to combine the theory we learnt in school with practice skills needed in real work.Also, the training made me realize I still have to learn a lot to enable myself competent for real work requirement.Although I have got to know the basic application methods of those software, based on this, I will continue to do research on them because the software is like the weapon of an engineer.Only if we are able to make use of them well, we can do great engineering design work.xxx
