向国际奥林匹克委员会，各国际单项体育组织，向参与奥运会筹办的建设者和工作者，向所有关心支持北京奥运会的朋友们表示衷心的感谢。

举办奥运会是中华儿女的百年梦想，七年前，13亿中国人民与奥运有一个美好的约定，从那时起，在国际奥委会的指导帮助下，中国政府和人民满怀激情，以最大的努力实践绿色奥运、科技奥运、人文奥运理念，认真做好筹办工作。兑现向国际社会作出的郑重承诺，使奥林匹克精神在中华大地得到更广泛的传播。
