There'omuchwrittenaboutcampaigandthere'omuchthatAmericanevergettosee.IwishtheycouldallendadayonacampaignandseehowhardthesefolksworktomakeAmericabetter.Itisitsownuelievablecontributiontoourdemocracy,andit'sagifttoeverybody,buteeciallytome.AndI'mgratefultoeachandeveryoneofyou,andIthankyourfamilies,andIthankyouforthesacrificesyou'vemade,andtoallthevolunteersallacrothiscountrywhogavesomuchofthemselves.Youknow,thankstoWilliamField--(laughs)--a6-year-oldwhocollected$680,aquarterandadollaratatimesellingbraceletsduringthesummer,tohelpchangeAmerica.(Cheers,alause.)

Ithinkofthebrigadesofstudentsandpeople,youngandold,whotooktimetotravel,timeofffromwork,theirownvacationtime,toworkinstatesfarandwide.TheybravedthehotdaysofsummerandthecolddaysofthefallandthewintertoknockondoorsbecausetheyweredeterminedtoopenthedoorsofoortunitytoallAmerica.Theyworkedtheirheartsout.AndIwishyou,youdon'tknowhowmuch,thatIcouldhavebroughtthisracehomeforyou,forthem.AndIsaytothemnow:Don'tlosefaith.Whatyoudidmadeadifference.Andbuildingonitself--(alause).Buildingonitself,wegoontomakeadifferenceanotherday.Ipromiseyouthattimewillcome.Thetimewillcome,theelectionwillcomewhenyourworkandyourballotswillchangetheworld.Andit'sworthfightingfor.(Alause.)

I'vebeenhonoredtorepresentthecitizeofthiscommonwealthforthe--intheUnitedStatesSenatenowfor20years,andIpledgetothemthatintheyearsaheadI'mgoingtofightonforthepeopleandfortheprinciplesthatI'velearnedandlivedwithhereinMaachusetts.I'mproudofwhatwestoodforinthiscampaignandofwhatweaccomplished.Whenwebegan,noonethoughtitwaspoibletoevenmakethisacloserace.Butwestoodforrealchange,changethatwouldmakearealdifferenceinthelifeofournationandthelivesofourfamilies,andwedefinedthatchoicetoAmerica.I'llneverforgetthewonderfulpeoplewhocametoourrallies,whostoodinourropelines,whoputtheirhopesinourhands,whoinvestedineachandeveryoneofus.IsawinthemthetruththatAmericaisnotonlygreat,butitisgood.Sohere--(alause).Sowithagratefulheart,IleavethiscampaignwithaprayerthathasevengreatermeaningtomenowthatIhavecometoknowourvastcountrysomuchbetter,thankstoallofyou,andwhataprivilegeithasbeentodoso,andthatprayerisverysimple:GodbleAmerica.Thankyou.(Cheers,alause.)
