Honorable chairman and the delegates, good morning, there is the delegate from Brazil to state the current population situation in our country and give some suggestions about this global problem.According to the latest census, undertaken in 2010, the population of Brazil has grown nearly twenty-fold from the first census in 1872.In the last decade, Brazil has undergone a family planning revolution which makes the country grow only slightly faster than the world average and on a par with many developed countries.But teen birth rates remain stubbornly high.Life expectancy has also grown.There are some difficulties in dealing with the population problems both in Brazil and abroad.For example: in the world, many countries have reduced support for family planning efforts and put money instead into efforts to slow the spread of AIDS.As a result, Brazil puts forward some suggestions with the expre concern of limiting population growth and increasing the health of all the world citizens.Some suggestions may cost a large amount of money or be undesirable to the moral stance, but, we feel that the requested funding would be more wisely spent by our methods.Brazil suggests that every country begin giving funding to family planning organizations and valuing education as well as the health of senior citizens more.Education would deter women from having children at very young ages, slow the growth rate and will reduce the TFR.More funding may make the older population require more government money.The sooner the government of each country adopts these recommendations, the better chance the world will have for an increase in quality of life for all its citizens.Perhaps with these changes, the developing will cease to be simply developing, and become an industrialized nation.Meanwhile the developed country will be more powerful.Thank You
