Dear Guests and Friends, Ladies and Gentlemen,Tonight, we aemble here for celebrating the inauguration of 100th seion of Chinese Export Commodities Fair.On behalf of Chinese government, I would like to extend my warm welcome to friends from all countries.In 1957, Chinese government determined to hold Chinese Export Commodities Fair twice a year in Guangzhou.Over the past 50 years, Canton Fair is held for 100 seions and becomes an integrated international trade pageant with the longest history, biggest scale, most completed range of commodities, largest number of attending companies and most rewarding experience in China.It marks a splendid chapter in the history of foreign trade and construction of China, plays a significant role in pushing China’s foreign trade development and opening up as well.Canton Fair is a showcase of China’s opening-up.China can not develop without cooperation with the world.Through Canton Fair, China and the world get better understandings.On this very platform, great numbers of Chinese and foreign enterprises exchange information, discu busine, promoted brands and purchase products.Meanwhile, China’s products are sold to all parts of the world.Canton Fair is a miniature of China’s opening-up.Holding of Canton Fair is a significant step in China’s implementation of opening-up policy.Over the course of 50 years, Canton Fair has reflected the history of China’s opening-up, showed new development and achievement in foreign trade since opening up, and pointed a wider road for China’s foreign trade.China’s all-around opening-up structure has been formed.Canton Fair is a manifestation of China’s opening-up.Holding Canton Fair succefully meets China’s opening-up policy in the new era and is the key part of implementing win-win strategy.With China’s broadening scope of opening-up, continuous economic prosperity and development, Canton Fair will face more opportunities for development.Canton Fair shall be held continuously with further innovation and succe, so as to obtain more achievement.Dear guests and friends,Opening-up is the way we must take for realizing China’s modernization.It brings benefit to China’s development which in turn contributes to the world at large.Under the backdrop of intensifying economic globalization and rapidly advancing science and technology, China will unswervingly implement the opening-up policy.We shall conform to the regulations of the WTO, further open our market and be active in participating in building the global multilateral trade mechanism.We shall encourage two-way investment, improve the efficiency of foreign fund utilizing, and actively introduce advanced technology and managerial expertise.We shall perfect foreign-related economic laws and regulations, enforce national strategy on IPR protection, strive to create a fair environment for competition and protect legitimate rights and interests of enterprises and individuals.In order to better adapt to new situation of opening-up, expand import, increase export and push coordinated and balanced development in trade, starting from the 101st seion, Chinese government has decided that Canton Fair will change its name to Chinese Import and Export Commodities Fair.China welcomes more people and friends from industrial and commercial community and other circles to attend the Fair.各位来宾，各位朋友，女士们，先生们：

今天晚上，美丽的羊城火树银花，流光溢彩。我们欢聚一堂，共同庆祝第100届中国出口商品交易会隆重开幕。我谨代表中国政府，对各国朋友表示热烈的欢迎！

1957年，中国政府决定在广州创办一年两届的中国出口商品交易会。50年来，广交会从未间断，迄今已举办100届，成为中国历史最长、规模最大、商品种类最全、到会客商最多、成交效果最好的综合性国际贸易盛会，在新中国外贸史和建设史上留下了光辉的一页，对推动中国外贸发展和对外开放发挥了十分重要的作用。

——广交会是中国对外开放的窗口。中国的发展离不开世界。透过广交会这个窗口，让世界了解中国，也使中国了解世界。众多中外企业在这里交流信息、洽谈业务、推介品牌、采购产品。中国产品从这里销往五大洲，遍及世界各个角落。

——广交会是中国对外开放的缩影。广交会的举办，迈出了中国对外开放的重要一步。广交会半个世纪的历程，反映了新中国对外开放的历史，展示了改革开放以来对外贸易的新发展和新成就，表明中国对外开放的道路越走越宽广。中国全方位对外开放的格局已经形成。

——广交会是中国对外开放的标志。继续办好广交会，是我国新时期对外开放的需要，是实施互利共赢开放战略的重要组成部分。随着中国走向更加开放，经济不断繁荣和发展，广交会面临更多的发展机遇。广交会要继续办下去，不断创新，办得更好，再创辉煌。

来宾们，朋友们：

对外开放是中国实现现代化的必由之路。对外开放有利于中国的发展，中国的发展也有利于世界。在经济全球化深入发展和科学技术日新月异的新形势下，中国将坚定不移地实行对外开放政策。

我们要遵循世界贸易组织规则，扩大市场开放，积极参与全球多边贸易体制建设。

我们要鼓励双向投资，提高利用外资的质量，积极引进先进技术和管理经验，大胆学习和借鉴人类创造的一切文明成果。

我们要完善涉外经济法律法规，实施保护知识产权的国家战略，努力创造公平的竞争环境，依法保护各类企业和个人的合法利益。

我们要同世界各国开展各领域的交流与合作，开创互利共赢的新局面，共同建设和谐世界。为了更好地适应对外开放的新形势，扩大进口，增加出口，推动进出口贸易的协调平衡发展，中国政府决定：从第101届开始，广交会更名为中国进出口商品交易会。欢迎更多的各国工商界人士和其他各界朋友们前来参加。
