Honorable officials from Ministry of Health of China and ASEAN countries, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen,金秋送爽，丹桂飘香。中国—东盟口腔医学交流与合作论坛在这美好的季节、在美丽的广西南宁隆重举行，在此，我谨代表广西壮族自治区人民政府对论坛的顺利召开表示热烈的祝贺！向各位远道而来的新老朋友和专家表示热烈的欢迎！
At this charming autumn with the sweet fragrance of orange osmanthus, China-ASEAN Forum on Dentistry(CAFD)is grandly opened here in Nanning, Guangxi.On behalf of the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, I would like to extend our warmest congratulations on the succeful convening of this forum and to expre our sincere welcome to all the friends and experts coming from afar.由中华人民共和国卫生部和广西壮族自治区人民政府主办的中国—东盟口腔医学交流与合作论坛，是中国—东盟博览会的重要内容之一，2008年11月我们在南宁已成功举办了首届中国—东盟口腔医学交流与合作论坛，成果丰硕，达到了预期目的。时隔两年，我们再次欢聚在绿城南宁，共商推进中国—东盟口腔医学合作发展大计，这对于加强交流、增进友谊，从政府层面整体推动中国与东盟口腔医学合作发展，具有重要意义。
China-ASEAN Forum on Dentistry(CAFD), sponsored by the Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China and People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is a prominent part of China-ASEAN Expo.The 1st CAFD was held succefully in Nanning in November, 2008.The expected aim of that forum was fully attained.Two years later, we meet once again in the green city of Nanning to jointly boost the cooperative development of dentistry for China and ASEAN countries.This forum has a great significance for promoting exchanges, strengthening friendship and pushing forward the overall cooperative development of dentistry for China and ASEAN from the government level.中国与东盟各国山水相连，文化和医学交流源远流长。长期以来，中国—东盟各国在医疗卫生领域的交流与合作一直没有间断。加强区域合作，是时代的潮流，也是实现地区持久和平、促进共同繁荣的需要。中国和东盟各国地缘相邻，文化相通，经济互补，双方政府高度重视发展友好关系和互利合作。承载着推动中国—东盟自由贸易区建设使命的中国—东盟博览会，每年在广西南宁举办，成为中国—东盟关系史上的一大盛事。中国—东盟博览会搭建了中国与东盟友好交往的重要舞台，开拓了中国与东盟合作的新局面。
China and ASEAN are close neighbors connected by mountains and rivers.Their cultural and medical exchanges boast a time-honored history.Communication and cooperation between the two sides have thrived uninterruptedly for a long time.Consequently, to enhance regional cooperation is not only the calling of our time, but also a need to maintain long-lasting peace and common prosperity in this region.China and ASEAN enjoy geographical proximity, cultural similarities and economic complementarities.Thus, the governments of both sides attach great importance to establish friendly relationship and mutual cooperation.China-ASEAN Expo(CAEXPO), bearing the miion of boosting the construction of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, is held annually in Nanning.It is a grand event in the history of China-ASEAN relations and an important platform for China-ASEAN friendly relationship.Besides, it also breaks new ground for cooperation between the two sides.（蓝天寄改）中国—东盟博览会已经成为促进中国与东盟经贸往来的重要平台，中国—东盟博览会不仅是经贸盛会，还在政治、外交、文化、教育、科技等多个领域和层面推动中国与东盟的交流合作.。本次论坛最突出的亮点是突破了政府机构交流的层面，增加了学术交流的内容。不仅就中国和东盟各国口腔医学教育交与合作的状况与展望，以及各国口腔公共健康教育的经验进行了探讨和交流，还邀请了来自美国、荷兰、日本等口腔医学专家带来最前沿的口腔学术演讲，并为有学习需求的中外嘉宾开设了技术学习班，突出了论坛专业、务实、创新的特色。来自东盟各国以及美国、澳大利亚、日本、荷兰、以色列等19个国家的官员和口腔医学专家、学者共200多人齐聚一堂，畅叙友谊，交流经验，展望合作。在中国经济不断发展、市场规模日益扩大的背景下，我们将以论坛为契机，进一步加强与东盟国家的交流与合作，把握商机，共同发展，为促进中国与东盟卫生事业和经济社会的发展进步做出积极贡献。
CAEXPO has already been a prominent platform to promote trade between China and ASEAN.It is a grant economic event on one hand, and a driver for the bilateral cooperation in politics, diplomacy, culture, education and science and technology between the two sides on the other.The breakthrough of this forum is that it has gone beyond the level of government and brought in more academic exchanges.Apart from discuion of the status quo and expectation for educational cooperation in the field of dentistry and communication concerning health education for the public between China and ASEAN, the forum has also invited dentistry experts from America, Holland and Japan to deliver cutting-edge academic speeches.In addition, technical claes have also been established for guests in need of dental knowledge from home and abroad.All those activities highlight the feature of profeion, pragmaticism and innovation.Over 200 officials, experts and scholars from 19 countries, including America, Australia, Japan, Holland and Israel will get together, renew friendship, exchange experience and explore opportunities for cooperation.The economic growth of China is in a good momentum and its market scale is expanding with each paing day.Under this backdrop, we would like to take this forum as a chance to further enhance our exchange and cooperation with ASEAN countries, seize busine opportunity and seek common development, so that we can make more contribution to the progre of health and social economy for China and ASEAN.女士们、先生们，让我们借这次论坛的东风，继续扩大和深化互利合作，共同为推动中国与东盟各国口腔医学的发展，造福人民，实现中国—东盟的共同繁荣而努力！
