Good morning.Ladies and gentlemen Today the fifth primary school English teaching conference will be held in our school.First of all, allow me to expre a warm welcome to our leaders, experts, and friends, on behalf of the four thousand students, and teachers of our school.We appreciate the hard work done by the English teachers and staff.Our school is a nice one with emphasis on English teaching.It’s our goal that everyone wants and is able to speak English.In our English claes we have a friendly atmosphere, which fits in with our school culture, school life and study of every subject.We have big English clarooms;English practice every day, the Voice of Cambridge, English modeling claes, English star competitions, international English study claes, A lot of English festivals.All of these have enriched the students’ interest, which leads them to enjoy and be succeful in English.In order to improve the students’ speaking ability we have invited two full time foreign teachers to our school.They are in charge of the oral English claes.“Happy English, Happy life” is our English-teaching motto.Through many years of experimenting and practice, our school has achieved a happy English-teaching method, mixed with study games and performances.In every English cla and activity, the students are able to show off, have fun and learn a lot.Meanwhile, we have some difficulties teaching English.We hope all the English experts spare no effort to help us.This meeting is a great gathering of primary school English teachers in our county;it is also a good way of enriching our appreciation of English culture and improving the quality of our English-teaching.We are honored to be able to listen to the experts’ instructions and exchange ideas.I believe, under the correct leadership of the Education Bureau and the Teaching and Research Department, we can influence the rich English culture of our city and province and all of our English teachers will further push us creatively, Making English teaching in our county to become better and better.Last but not least, again we appreciate our honored guests’ coming here and wish that we have a succeful meeting.Thank you very much.
