April 26 marks the tenth annual World Intellectual Property Day.The United States has celebrated and protected innovation and creativity since George Washington signed the first American patent in 1790.The ideas and inspirations of our citizens fuel our economy, enrich our culture and help us meet global challenges from climate change to poverty, hunger and disease.4月26日是第10个一年一度的世界知识产权日。自从乔治·华盛顿在1790年签署第一份美国专利以来，美国一直提倡并保护发明和创造。我国公民的创意和灵感不仅能推动我们的经济，丰富我们的文化，也有助于我们应对从气候变化到贫穷、饥饿和疾病等种种全球挑战。
