The Telecommunication and Our Life
Telecommunication has become an important part of our daily life and deeply effects modern society.Generally telecommunication is the transmiion（传送）of signals over a distance for the purpose of sending information.By sharing information, people can get such a development today.Information is even considered to be a standard criteria（评判准则，尺度）to ae life quality of a man.Telecommunication is now understood as a system consists of three elements: a transmitter（发射机，传送者）that takes
information and converts（使转变）it to a signal;a transmiion that carries the signal;and a receiver that receives the signal and converts it back into usable information.Some other
telecommunication systems such as mobile phones, computers in net work act as both a transmitter and receiver or transceiver.In earlier times telecommunication was done slowly by mean of simple methods such as the use of smoke signals, and
semaphore（打旗语）, and usually could transfer a bit of information.For a longer distance and more detail maage, pigeon post was
used.People wrote letters and pigeons carried them to others.Since the electronics was established and applied in
communication, telecommunication has made a great advance
toward all the fields of life today.Step into the Information Age（信息时代）,our communication depends on the mobile telephones and internet.Advatages
Telecommunication brings people nearer.By using mobile phones and internet, people over the world can talk to each other and share information, photographs, profiles and events.There are even communities founded by internet users.No longer we need to wait for weeks even months to get hand writing letters.Disadvantages
But some people warn that the increasingly use of
telecommunication will hurt human beings’ ability of social communication which based on the face to face.It is true.Telecommunication brings us negative affects as well as convenience.To sum up, both advantages and disadvantages exist in using telecommunication tools frequently.The digital connection cannot replace the sense which felt by your eyes, face and mouth which carry more means, but we have to admit that telecommunication is neceary and eential to our daily life.Thank you for your time and I hope that you and your loved ones have effective communication.
