Holle, everyone.The topic of my speech is Niccolo Machiavelli had achieved great succe in both politics and drama.Have you ever read the book The Prince?Do you know who is the father of modern political science?Do you know the first Italian comedy?All this questions are connected with one person, Niccolo Machiavelli.Maybe many people don’t know much about Machiavelli.But in fact, he was very famous for his achievements in politics and drama.When we comes to Machiavelli, we can not help to think about his great works, The Prince.This book has a great effect on political science in the next hundreds years.The Prince is the only book that has received both ruthle criticism and unprecedented reputation.Machiavelli had influenced the world a lot, particularly his thought of “Politics Without Moral”.His thoughts are regarded as the incisive and original political principles in human history.His political achievements are so great that many people regard him as the father of modern political science.Besides the political achievement, Machiavelli is also succeful in drama.His most famous works is Mandala, which is the first Italian comedy.The writer extolled the wisdom and love of human beings.Machiavelli inherited and developed the tradition of Roman comedy.And most of his works show the true life of Italy and attack the social evils.According to the book “Niccolo’s smile: Machiavelli Biography”, when Machiavelli was dying, he told his friends that he dreamed two groups of people.People in one group are ragged and going to heaven.But people in another are dignified and talking politics.They are going to hell.He told his friend that he was willing to go to hell to discu politics.The story can not only show Machiavelli’s bravene when facing moral decision, but also show his sincerene and persistence.Engels once said, “Machiavelli is a politician, a historian and a poet.” Yes, no matter how long it goes, people will never forget Machiavelli’s great achievements in politics and drama.
