Should the Mother Stay at Home to Raise children? Opening Statement

As early childhood is the most formative period of development for a child it is important that a mother has as much time to devote to her children as poible.By staying at home mothers could ensure that the next generation had the best start in life, hopefully averting future problems and providing a benefit to society as a whole.Because the whole of society benefits from giving children the best poible start in life, the government should do more to allow more women to make a positive choice to stay at home.Many childcare options are poor quality with one adult looking after many children at once.This can leave young children bored and uninterested slowing their rate of development.Many religions and culture view a women’s place as being in the home.Within this sphere they are respected as of paramount.Mothers who stay at home with their children are more likely to have time to be involved with their community.Volunteers are needed in many spheres of education such as PTAs(Parent-Teacher Aociations), claroom aistants or organizers of school trips and mothers who stay home are able to become more fully involved in these aspects of community life.I personally believe that mothers should stay at home and raise their children unle it's neceary for them to have a job for whatever reason.I have a few friends whose mothers work and they have many conflicts with each other.On the other hand, my mother never got a job since she and my father were married and the two of us are very close.I believe that when a mother stays home, she forms a closer bond with her child(ren)while putting him/her/them in a daycare while she works will put distance between the mother and child(ren).However, that doesn't mean mothers have to stay home all the time.It's okay for them to go out and have some time to themselves(my mother, for example, goes to horseback-riding leons).As time goes by and the child(ren)become more independent, then the mother doesn't have to be at home all the time.(DIY)Ladies and gentleman: The reason why we stand here is to present that we suppose mothers should stay at home to raise children.in many countries mothershave a legal right to maternity.For UK women this comprises 26 weeks paid leave and 26 weeks unpaid leave, in Sweden leave is offered to the mother until the child is 18 months old.Other options exist, protecting the right to ask for part-time work or flexible hours.However many studies also point to the years before a child starts school as the most important in its educational and emotional development.Many believe that for this reason the mother should be at home at least until her children start schools in order to afford them the best start in life.As early childhood is the most formative period of development for a child it is important that a mother has as much time to devote to her children as poible.By staying at home mothers could ensure that the next generation had the best start in life, hopefully averting future problems and providing a benefit to society as a whole.Additionally, many childcare options are poor quality with one adult looking after many children at once.This can leave young children bored and uninterested slowing their rate of development.Therefore, we believe there exists no better way to raise a good child than a mother who stay at home to look after her child by herself.
