A customer came into a pet shop, he wanted to buy a parrot.有位顾客进入一家宠物店，他想买一只鹦鹉。

When he entered the shop, the warmhearted shopkeeper said to him ,“Excuse me, sir.What can I do for you?”

当他进去的时候，热情的老板对他说：“打扰了，先生，我有什么可以帮您的吗？” The man said,“ Thank you!Would you please help me to find the cleverest parrot in you shop? ”

顾客说：“谢谢，麻烦你帮我找只你们店里最聪明的鹦鹉行吗？”

The shopkeeper replied, “It's my pleasure!There are three parrots in my shop, and all of them are very clever.”

老板答到：“那是我的荣幸！我们这儿有三只鹦鹉，它们都很聪明。”

The man said,“Oh,really?Please tell me their prices and how clever they are.”

顾客接着说：“噢，真的吗？请告诉我它们的价格以及它们到底有多聪明。” The shopkeeper said, “Ok!The first one is 1000 dollars, it can use WINDOWS.The second one is 2000 dollars, it can use UNIX.The third one is 5000 dollars, it can use NOTHING.”

The man was so surprised that he asked the shopkeeper,“Why is the price of the third parrot so high? Does NOTHING stand for the most advanced computer system software?”

顾客很惊讶，他问：“怎么第三只鹦鹉如此之贵啊？难道NOTHING是现在世界上最先进的电脑系统软件吗？”

The shopkeeper said,“No, NOTHING means not any thing.The reason for its highest price is that the other two parrots call it CEO.”
