A word that has changed the world
There is a treasure called SMILE Ladies and Gentlemen, ① It’s my honor to be here to give you a short speech on this beautiful shining stage.My topic today is that There Is a Treasure called Smile.There is a beautiful poem that says: Life is like a mirror, when you smile, people will smile back.When you treat other people kindly, they will treat you kindly in return.And it’s also said that before going out every day, smile to yourself in the mirror will make you a good mood all day.So, did you smile today? ②Smile is a treasure.It’s worth a million dollars, but it doesn’t cost a cent.We wanna smile, from the information I got, research have shown that smiling can make us both physically and psychologically relaxed, healthy, and how it works.③Here’s a story about Mr.Stanley, a man in Broadway, who wanted to change himself.④Mr.Stanley was very depreed, he never smiles to anybody.He has been married for 18 years, and during that time, from time getting up to going to work every morning, he rarely smiled to his wife or said any words.He never smiles, even to himself.He had thought that he was the most worried people in Broadway.He was dying to change the situation.Three weeks ago, Stanley attended Continued-education training claes, he was asked to give a presentation about the importance of smile.Then, he made up his mind to try to smile maybe only for a week.⑤Ok, gue what, what happened when he did this? On the way to work, Mr.Stanley tried to smile to everyone he met, the elevator operator of the building, the guards at the entrance of the gate, the young lady working in the subway.⑥Very soon, Mr.Stanley began to find that everyone also smiles to him.Facing those who complain about the grumble, he became a cheerful guy.He listened carefully, and always with a smile, and they could soon work out the solution.What’s more, Mr.Stanley found smile has changed his life from then on, he said:”Smile really can make it.Smiling make me more confident and popular, smiling even brings me more money.Smile is indeed a treasure, it’s worth a lot”
